Behind VA Shadows Visiting Lectures & Community Conversations
Behind VA Shadows shares the stories, research, and artistic practices emerging from museum frontline workers and the communities they build beyond institutional walls. Through lectures, panels, workshops, and facilitated conversations, we examine labor, visibility, care, and creative survival while introducing alternative models of mutual support for artists and cultural workers.
Rather than simply discussing the challenges facing the cultural sector, our sessions invite participants to collectively imagine and practice new infrastructures rooted in solidarity, artistic authorship, and community care.
